after a long winter's nap

she's finally coming out of hibernation! actually i've been trapped behind the scenes setting up pixelicious over at pixeldiner.net on a new server (and several other domains for my kids, etc.), installing mt and other goodies there, importing my photo blog (grrrr! had a few go-arounds with db tables, replacing paths in all the data to the new location, and other what-nots). after all this i think i deserve a raise! sadly, 20% of nothin' is nothin' (learned that homeschooling my kids LOL) so i guess i'll continue gratis... whatever... it keeps the gray matter snapping so i can't complain. ;-)

the good news (for me, at least) is that i'm done with the first phase of setting up here and can finally get back to blogging! huzzah!

fortunately, i don't have to worry about getting fired for blogging or reading my favorite bloggers while i'm supposed to be working. for those of you who DO live with that threat every day, check out Web Fire Escape... this wiseguy has a code generator just for you! :-)

This week's HowStuffWorks summary ventures into the world of blogging with Marshall Brain. Visit his entry on "How Blogs Work" and get the answers you've always wanted. ;-)
